Collaborative Learning Community

CEDEP is a non-profit collaborative learning community, located on the INSEAD campus in Fontainebleau, France. It was created almost 40 years ago by 6 pan-European companies in association with INSEAD. Their objective was to learn from each other, supported by the academic rigour and excellence of INSEAD faculty.

Our membership has since grown to an elite but diverse set of industry-leading companies, dedicated to best management practices. 

Cedep is based on a strong partnership model and exists solely to serve the educational needs of its members. It operates more like an extension of members’ corporate universities or human capital development activities than a detached business school.


Programme & Faculty Excellence
Cedep currently accesses a network of leading professors and  consultants  from top business schools such as INSEAD, Harvard, Wharton, Yale, Carnegie Mellon and from around the world. Key educators are selected from this global network, based on their specific expertise and members’ needs, to co-design and co-develop the portfolio of business relevant open-enrolment and company-specific programmes. Programmes are then closely reviewed after each cycle with member representatives to ensure that the content and approach is continually renewed.

At the doorstep of PARIS nestled in the Fontainebleau Forest and co-located on the INSEAD Campus,  CEDEP offers an unparalleled educational environment and experience.

The architectural design of our facilities is designed to maximise learning. There are large open spaces, spacious meeting rooms and comfortable classrooms. Participants enjoy excellent on-campus dining services and accommodation with high-speed internet access. On their free time, they enjoy outdoor recreational activities such as jogging, tennis, swimming, as well as an on-site,state-of-art fitness activities.

Being at CEDEP is a highly personal experience. We have a very strong service culture. Genuinely  concerned about the well-being of our participants, we take care of every detail so participants can focus on learning and reflection. A participant just needs to ask and our staff will do what it takes to find an innovative solution. Providing standard responses is not part of our mantra.

There is a strong sense of continuity in all our management development activities. Members find value over the long-term and remain committed to CEDEP. Typically, member companies remain with us for 15 years.
