AXA

Bekaert - June 2010 - Arbonne La Fôret

Objectives

The Action Learning modules aim to meet three main objectives:

Teambuilding and bonding through a shared experience. This leads to higher efficiency in the classroom, improves the interpersonal exchanges and deepens the ties between the learning community overall and the individual.

Project Management through real life experience “in uncertain” environments. It allows participants to live through the pitfalls and opportunities of the various aspects of project management.

Stretch Goals by reaching out and achieving through collaboration. This prepares teams to achieve operational targets beyond belief.

Active Learning at Cedep

Cedep has been using Active Learning Pedagogy for many years now in various management programmes.

We work with a project management company; Splash Projects and local charities to allow a full day learning experience for our participants.

In active, we really mean 'Active' participation from the start to end of the project, working in teams to achieve a real end result that can be appreciated by the group and the client.

We often work with several different groups on one site over a period of time. This allows several groups to participate on the different stages of one whole project, allowing us to fully understand the clients needs and requirements thereby transmitting these needs to the participating groups, making this a fulfilling experience for everyone.

Working with Splash Projects for 5 years means a perfect understanding of our managers needs and their application in the field combined with the technical experience necessary to complete the task.

All team members can then be given feedback following their performance in the field - This is what we call Active Learning.
