Global companies need strategic thinkers, with sound judgement. They need executives who can lead in a global, complex and rapidly changing environment.
CEDEP’s General Management Programme (GMP) provides participants with the skills they need to manage and lead change successfully.
It gives them the tools and methodologies to manage their businesses, to align their organisations, and to deal more effectively with the increasing complexity of globalisation.
Using a carefully crafted balance of academic theory, case studies and insights into personal leadership, the GMP develops strategic thinkers with sound judgement who can lead effectively in a global, complex and rapidly changing environment.
Working with an international network of peers from both inside and outside their organisations, the programme offers participants a rare opportunity to step away from day-to-day responsibilities, to reflect, and to share ideas with an exclusive group of professionals drawn from some of the top thinkers in business today.
|
|
The GMP is a three-module programme running over one year that provides general managers with a holistic view of their businesses. Participants gain a new approach to delivering profitable growth within increasingly uncertain business conditions. The GMP looks at the business from the outside in.
● MODULE 1 offers tools to understand the environment more clearly and to manage the conflicting and competing demands of multiple stakeholders.
● MODULE 2 introduces methodologies to address company challenges across functional boundaries and to align an organisation to take advantage of external opportunities.
● MODULE 3 Through a unique group coaching process and a set of provocative lecturers, it addresses participants’ challenges of leadership such as life-work balance, power & networking, etc. It culminates in an integrative simulation, which pulls the programme together.
This programme runs twice a year starting in June and December.
