The International Journal of Management Education

We are thrilled to share our first published academic journal article, “Strategic challenges as a learning vehicle in executive education” in the November issue of The International Journal of Management Education.
The article written by Harwin de Vries, Jens Meyer, Luk Van Wassenhove, and Nana von Bernuth Vexamines the effort and challenges in redesigning the learning format of CEDEP’s General Management Program in 2014, to improve its alignment with adult learning principles and answer real life situations.
The paper describes CEDEP’s novel approach to drop classical case studies and center learning around strategic challenges participants face instead and also clearly demonstrates the immediate application and solid impact of the learnings into the day to day work and context of the participants.

This methodology has transformed our participants learning within our GMP programme!

The book has received widespread acclaim and is being translated into Arabic, Chinese, Czech, Finnish, German, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Thai. The study is on-going with an expansion of the sample to other industries and several publications in strategic management journals.

CEDEP Annual Alumni Reunion June 16th 2017

On Friday 16 June we held our biggest Annual Alumni Reunion yet in Fontainebleau with 130 guests. It was a truly magical day with the amazing Jay Shetty flying in from New York to talk to our Alumni about the Millennial Mind and our only female Academic Committee member, Nadya Zhexembayeva, leading a presentation on Leadership and Reinvention. We offered yoga and mindfulness sessions at lunchtime in the sunshine and in the afternoon, everyone got the chance to test their creative skills in groups by taking the morning’s learnings and designing colourful fresques with the Meeting Arts Concept team. Live jazz music, an art exhibition (led by our favourite artist, Veronique Daniel) and a barbecue dinner rounded off this unforgettable day.

Click above to see the video of the day  and make sure you save Friday 15 June 2018 to be with us for next year’s Alumni Reunion!
