Since the launch of our Safety & Leadership Culture program over 15 years ago, co-created with CEDEP founding member L’Oréal and Sanofi, we have continued to develop our expertise and push boundaries in this important area of safety culture.

As we continue this journey, we are therefore pleased to announce that CEDEP has acquired RMS Switzerland, a global consultancy specialising in safety culture and leadership, and Europe’s annual EHS Congress, managed by IFS Group, a leading Hungarian conference company, to create a new forward-thinking International Institute for Leadership and Safety Culture ( IILSC). These acquisitions will reinforce and complement CEDEP’s safety and leadership culture offerings around the globe.

“With these acquisitions and the creation of the IISLC, CEDEP will accelerate and further deepen our services in the leadership and safety space for our members and clients,” says Thomas Hinterseer, managing director and chairman of the board, CEDEP.

EHS Congress renamed IILSC-EHS Congress

As part of the acquisition, the EHS Congress, Europe’s leading annual health, safety and environment conference in Berlin, will be renamed the  IILSC-EHS Congress and become the flagship event for the new institute.

Renowned safety expert Dr Andrew Sharman, founder and managing partner of RMS, will become director of the new IISLC and conference specialist Aron Toszer, founder of IFS Group, will manage the IILSC-EHS Congress.

“Partnering with Andrew and Aron is a fantastic opportunity to build on their recognised expertise and years of international experience in this arena,” adds Thomas.

“Having been part of the CEDEP team for seven years already, it’s wonderful to create this exciting next step now together as we join forces to create the new institute and provide an even stronger offering in leadership and safety culture for organisations and leaders around the world,” says Dr Andrew Sharman, founder and managing partner of RMS.

“I’m delighted that the EHS Congress will become part of CEDEP,” says Aron Toszer, founder of IFS Group. “Now in its seventh year, the May 2024 conference will be bigger and better than ever, and we are looking forward to becoming the top event for the newly created International Institute for Leadership & Safety Culture.”
