Edouard Demeire is a regular lecturer and visiting professor in academic institutions such as the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBSEM), ESCP Europe and CELforpharma, the Center for Executive Leadership in Pharmaceuticals of which he is a founding partner.
He has worked as a consultant and trainer for various health care, biotech, high-technology and service companies. His experience is mainly with companies such as AstraZeneca, Novartis, Eli Lilly, Merck and most recently Roche/Genentech, where he co-authored their Marketing Excellence Brand Planning process.
After working as a full-time research associate at INSEAD, he consulted with the PA Consulting Group and then joined PRISM, a company originally created by three professors of the INSEAD business school with the vision to transfer state of the art marketing to the corporate world. Edouard is currently Managing Partner of PRISM.
In terms of R&D activity, Edouard has developed a number of decision support systems and business simulation systems. Edouard’s work has been published in Management Journals such as Economics of Innovation and New Technology, Scrip Magazine and Pharmaceutical Executive.
Edouard holds a degree in econometrics from the University of Antwerp where he wrote his thesis on a comparison of forecasting models in marketing applications.
