NANA VON BERNUTH

LEADERSHIP & COLLABORATION

Nana von Bernuth is a Professor and Business Coach with a focus on Innovation, Strategy, and Leadership.  Her passion lies in helping participants to transform learnings into action.

Since 2003, she combines consulting, research activity, programme design and teaching at CEDEP and INSEAD, which allows her to remain at the forefront of the latest insights and developments in these fields.

Nana collaborated with Morten Hansen and Jim Collins on their books Collaboration and Great by Choice, respectively as well as on Herminia Ibarra’s book Act Like a Leader, Think like a Leader  on how to successfully step up to leadership.  Her work on “The 100 Best-Performing CEOs in the World” is published each year in Harvard Business Review.

Prior to her career in academia, Nana was a senior management consultant with KPMG Corporate Finance in Berlin and Milan. Companies she has worked for include among others: LG Electronics, Johnson & Johnson, Santander, Starwood Hotels, Renault, EdF, Lego as well as a lot of small and medium sized companies. Since 2016, she is on the board of the Artificial Intelligence company Addventa, Paris.

At CEDEP, Nana leverages her deep experience in designing leadership development programmes globally. She directs CEDEP’s flagship programme on soft-skills for Business Leadership – AME (Achieving Managerial Excellence), coaches and teaches on the Strategic Challenge projects of the GMP (General Management Programme) participants and directs several company specific programmes.
