PHILIPPE DELQUIÉ

DECISION MAKING, INNOVATION

Dr Philippe Delquié is a professor at the George Washington University in Washington DC.

His scholarly research and teaching are in human and machine decision-making, risk taking/avoidance, and business analytics. He has developed executive seminars and consulted for major companies that need to deploy best processes to deal with high levels of risk and uncertainty, in many sectors, on five continents. A hallmark of Delquié’s research is to leverage insights from experimental studies of human behavior and analytic modeling to design novel decision-making methods and tools. His research papers have been published in the world’s leading academic reviews in his field.

Prior to joining GW, Philippe held faculty appointments at INSEAD France, École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay, Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business (visiting), and the University of Texas at Austin.

A dual citizen of France and the US, Philippe Delquié holds a BS in Civil Engineering from École Nationale des Travaux Publics, Lyon, and MS and PhD degrees from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).
